About the guide:

The HRNZ Executive Governance Guide provides a comprehensive overview of governance and its interface with us, as leaders of HR. The guide explores governance structures, practices and the role of boards in different types of organisations. It covers fundamental board functions, director duties as per the Companies Act 1993, and the importance of understanding the details of governance arrangements within your organisation. It highlights the significance of HR's role in relevant areas of interest to the board, helping you to consider the value you can provide at a strategic governance level. You'll find practical guidance, tools and resources to help you develop your governance capability.
